Jim Henson Films / MGM Pictures
Animal Coordinator / Trainer
We
provided many highly trained dogs for the seven lead roles
as well as over 30 other animals for smaller roles. This
was a wonderful opportunity to show what we could do as
trainers, not only did these dogs have to perform many highly
technical behaviors most scenes involved multiple dogs in
frame at the same time. Unlike Cats and Dogs - no puppets
were used and aside from lip movements and the odd facial
expression, few special effects. When you see the dogs doing
something amazing -- a real dog is doing the work.
